The Negev film festival aims to promote the region as a central, upbeat and influential cultural center serving all Negev residents.

The aim is to encourage and enrich the offering for cultural consumers in the south and to provide quality documentary films that will attract a broad array of populations.  In the longer term, the Docaviv Negev Film Festival strives to become a major and leading brand for culture in the south, attracting large audiences from near and far.  The Festival will empower the region and the organizations therein by attracting audiences from the center and the entire country, introducing them to the area’s abundance and natural values, its tourism potential and commercial options.

The Festival events are intended and directed to all communities and sectors in Yeruham and the Negev, for film and culture enthusiasts, for the entire family, tourists and visitors.

The screenings will be accompanied by meetings with the creators, aiming to introduce the audiences to the documentary endeavor and enrich the viewing experience.
